Religious Education Knowledge Progression Map

To ensure coherent and sequenced learning for our children in the subject of Religious Education, we have chosen to map the Awe, Mystery and Values agreed syllabus into an order that supports the building of small blocks of knowledge that link to wider experiences and other subjects that will enhance understanding. EYFS children have planned experiences, vocabulary and access to texts that will prepare them for the Key Stage One curriculum. At Hindhayes we call our core knowledge 'sticky learning'.
